Q: When did you join ITL World and what is your role there?
A: I joined in September 2022 as the Corporate Sales Manager, with responsibility for new business acquisitions, development and relationship management, strategic account management, product knowledge, solution selling, collaboration and internal coordination.
Q: Tell us about one special facility, product or service ITL World has for corporate clients
A: Miceminds by ITL World is a strategic business unit focused exclusively on offering solutions for meetings, incentives, conferences and events. Key features include integrated event management, global destination expertise, cost-efficient corporate solutions and end-to-end support.
Q: Are you seeing an evolution in the way companies in the GCC manage their business travel?
A: The shift is driven by digital transformation, cost optimisation and concerns about employee safety and experience. These issues are being reflected in a transition from traditional to technology-driven travel management, including integration with expense and HR systems. There is also a change of focus from cost to value, as well as deeper use of data and more attention to sustainability.
Q: Tell us one trend in travel management that will be a hot topic in 2026
A: The travel management conversation will shift from cost efficiency to carbon efficiency, where every trip is tracked, optimised, and justified not only in terms of budget, but also environmental impact. This region will also be strongly influenced by rapid digital adoption and long-term national development strategies (UAE Vision 2031 and Saudi Vision 2030).
Q: Which is your favourite restaurant in Dubai?
A: Pierchic is a waterfront restaurant on the private pier the Jumeirah Al Qasr. The views of the Burj Al Arab and Arabian Gulf are stunning, as is the food, which specialises in seafood with Mediterranean influences. I love it here because the atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, making it perfect for business dinners.
Q: What is your number one piece of advice for business visitors to Dubai?
A: Dubai’s business environment is highly competitive, fast-paced and globally connected. Decision-makers expect visitors to be well-prepared, concise and responsive. First impressions count and professionalism is often the deciding factor for whether a partnership moves forward. Success depends not just on what you offer, but how you connect. Deals are built on trust, personal rapport and mutual respect.
