Q: How long have you worked at the hotel?

A:  I joined Sofitel Dubai Downtown in 2021. It’s been a rewarding journey leading a flagship luxury hotel in the heart of Dubai and welcoming guests from around the world.

Q: What percentage of your guests are business travellers?

A: About 60 per cent of our guests are business travellers, drawn by our prime location next to DIFC (Dubai International Financial Centre) and Downtown, plus the convenience of our private skywalk to Dubai Mall.

Q: Tell us about one special facility or service you have for business travellers

A: Our meeting rooms are equipped with the latest technology, offering everything from high-speed connectivity to smart presentation tools. They provide a professional and comfortable setting that makes business gatherings seamless, efficient, and productive.

Q: Tell us one amazing, little-known detail about your hotel that people may not know

A: Our infinity pool is directly facing the Burj Khalifa—many guests are pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem that combines relaxation with Dubai’s best skyline view.

Q: What is your favourite dish in one of your restaurants?

A: At Brasserie Lutetia I love the boeuf bourguignon. It’s a comforting French classic that embodies Sofitel’s art de vivre and pairs beautifully with the restaurant’s warm, elegant atmosphere.

Q: What is your number one piece of advice for business visitors to Dubai?

A: Balance work with leisure: schedule time to enjoy the city’s world-class dining, shopping and cultural experiences. It’s the best way to get the full Dubai experience.
