Raffles is preparing to open a new ultra-luxury hotel on Jeddah’s Corniche, adding a high-profile coastal address to Saudi Arabia’s rapidly evolving hospitality landscape.
Set overlooking the Red Sea, the impending arrival of Raffles Jeddah comes at a time when Jeddah is positioning itself as a cultural and lifestyle hub, alongside its long-established role as a commercial gateway. The property is intended to blend Raffles’ heritage of personalised service with design and programming rooted in local identity.
Speaking ahead of the opening, Fredrik Blomqvist, General Manager of Raffles Jeddah, said: “The upcoming opening of Raffles Jeddah represents an important milestone for the city. Jeddah has always held a spirit of openness and cultural expression shaped by its relationship with the sea and its long history as a coastal gateway. With the introduction of the property, we honour those traditions while introducing the refined elegance and intuitive service that define the Raffles experience. Our ambition is to create a destination that feels beautifully connected to its surroundings, where every guest can experience the warmth of Saudi hospitality and the grace for which Raffles is known.”
Design across the hotel draws on Hejazi craftsmanship, with mashrabiya-inspired details, coral motifs, and a colour palette informed by the Red Sea. Artworks by Saudi and regional artists are integrated throughout the public spaces, reflecting the city’s layered cultural narrative.
The hotel will feature 182 keys, including 142 guest rooms and 40 suites, all positioned as residential-style retreats with uninterrupted sea views. Guests will also have access to Raffles’ signature butler service. The wider development also includes 120 branded residences.
Dining offerings will be spread across several concepts. Riviera is set to focus on Mediterranean coastal flavours, while Surl’O will offer a contemporary brasserie format shaped by international influences. Atorie will centre on patisserie and tea, combining French and Japanese traditions. Wellness facilities will include spaces dedicated to fitness, relaxation and rejuvenation, designed to prioritise privacy and calm.
For events, Raffles Jeddah will house a grand ballroom with Red Sea views, alongside a collection of lounges and private suites aimed at weddings, social occasions and high-profile gatherings.
As Jeddah continues to attract travellers seeking culture-led luxury experiences, Raffles Jeddah is positioned as a new waterfront landmark that combines global hospitality standards with a strong sense of place.
